Obituary for Mary Leona Smith
Funeral services have been set for Mary Leona Smith, age 83, who passed away this morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be at the Blair First Baptist Church, Sunday, September 30th at 2:00 P.M. Officiating will be the Reverend William Magar assisted by the Reverend Roy McDaniel. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born June 3rd, 1901 in Bowie, Texas and moved to Jackson County with her parents Mr. & Mrs. Henry Biddy, as a small child. She was married to William Smith August 23, 1970 at Rockwell, TX.
Survivors include: her husband, William Smith of the home in Blair; two daughters, Opal Gregory of Midwest City, OK and Kathleen Hartles of Blair; one step-son, Grider Smith of Denton, TX; one step-daughter, Helen Smith of Irving, TX; one sister, Hazel McDaniel of Blair; three grand-
children, Janicew Hill of Grand Prairie, TX, Dianne Landers of Altus and Susie Campbell of Blair; five great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren.
