Mary Lillie Gouge age 87, of Altus, Oklahoma, died November 8, 1963 at Norman Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born June 8, 1876 in Jacksoborg , Texas to J.N. and Lillie (Moody) Cates. She married J.W. Gouge in 1909 and moved to Altus in 1910. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ, Elm and Hudson.
Funeral services for Mary Lillie Gouge are scheduled for Sunday, November 10, 1963 at 2:00pm at the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ officiated by L.N. Moody. Burial will follow at the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mary Lillie Gouge is survived by her sons, H.L. Baker, Los Angles, California; C.M. Baker, Vernon, Texas; O.W. Baker, Altus, Oklahoma; A.P. Baker Altus, Oklahoma; Harold Gouge, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother Bob Cates, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
