Mary Margaret Tidwell was born February 25th, 1882 in Lavar County, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Taylor. She went to meet her maker on January 15th, 1967 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. Maggie lived in Altus for the past 38 years and was member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons; Pete, Jack, Bill and Oscar and two daughters: Mrs. Hubert Bonds and Mrs. E. L. Hinkle. One brother Jim Taylor of Edingburg Texas and one sister, Mrs Annie Wallace of Marietta, Oklahoma. Also surviving are twenty five grandchildren, forty two great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.

Services for Mary Margaret Tidwell are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 17th, 1967 in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Hoyt Lemmon and Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
