Obituary for Mattie Mildred Piercy
Mrs. Nettie Piercy, age 72, long time resident of Eldorado, died Tuesday in the Quanah Memorial Hospital in Quanah, TX.

Memorial services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Thursday at the Eldorado First Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Walter Knox and assisted by Floyd Robertson. Burial will be in Olustee Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born June 14, 1899 in Old Greer County and she was married to Robert Lee Piercy who preceded her in death in 1964. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Laverne Hill and Mrs. Anna Lou Wooten, both of Eldorado; four sons, Thomas,,, of Eldorado, Bud of Quanah, James of Olney, TX and A. C. of Amarillo; 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at Lowell-Richardson Memorial Chapel in Eldorado.
