Max Richard Graham, 75, of Altus, passed away Monday, June 07, 2010.
Max was born August 11, 1934 in Walters, Oklahoma to Seburn and Lela (Mims) Graham. He joined the United States Army and served his country during both the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam War. After leaving the Army, Max worked in Maintenance at Altus Air Force Base for several years. He moved to Edmond for a while before returning to Altus in 2000. Max loved traveling, especially his trips to Las Vegas, watching TV, and all types of sports. He loved his family dearly and will greatly missed by the many family and friends he leaves behind.
He is lovingly survived by his son, Mark and Debbie Graham of Duke, Ok., two daughters, Jeanne Freeland of Altus and Robin and Scott Staggs of Blair, Ok; two sisters, Sonya and Bob Reagan of Altus and Sally Doughty, also of Altus; one brother, Ron and Claudia Graham of Rome, Tx. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Heather Pollard and Dale, Justin Freeland and Jeannie, Trey Graham, Nick Graham, Cody Staggs, and Skylar Staggs; five great-grandchildren, Lex, Gatlin, Jett, Jared and Jacob; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services have been scheduled for 4:00 pm, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Altus City Cemetery with his brother, Rev. Ron Graham officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
