Obituary for Meda Ethel Smith
Mrs. Meda Ethel Smith, age 71, died Tuesday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ Friday at 2:00 P.M., with Gary Colley officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born September 10th, 1898 in Arkansas, Mrs. Smith was a long time resident of Altus.

Survivors include: two sons, R. G. Smith, Jr. of Norman and Don C. Smith of Garland, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Ben Wiginton of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Bill McClure of Austin, Texas; one brother, Ted Hogue of Altus; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Gilbreath of Altus and Mrs. Martha Brandon of Agua-Dulee, Texas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
