Obituary for Michael Craig Armstrong
Michael Craig Armstrong, 45, a longtime resident of Blair, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 4, 2020, at his residence in Blair with family by his side.

Michael was born on April 17, 1975, to his parents, Susan A. (Graumann) Armstrong and Dennis J. Armstrong in Altus, Oklahoma. Growing up he attended Blair Public School and was a proud graduate of the Blair Class of 1993. Michael was active in baseball and basketball throughout his school years.

On June 21, 1994, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He was an aviation boatswain mate on the USS Independence Aircraft Carrier where played a major role in launching and recovering naval aircraft quickly and safely. Upon returning from his time in the Navy, Michael began working for Dan's Heating and Air Conditioning where he worked for over twenty-two years. Michael was a caring, dedicated, hardworking employee. He was always willing to help a family member, a friend, or even a stranger in need.

On September 26, 2020, Michael married the love of his life LaDonna Holt Armstrong.

Michael was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Altus, Oklahoma for many years. He enjoyed golfing, coaching, and had an incredible passion for fishing. The only thing he loved more than fishing was his family and spending time with them. Michael had a unique personality which went along with his witty sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife LaDonna Armstrong of the home; mother, Susan A. (Graumann) Armstrong; father, Dennis J Armstrong; one brother, B.J. Armstrong and wife Amy; four sons, Wren Michael Armstrong and fiancé Shianne Evans, Nicklaus Kai Armstrong, Logan Huetter, and Kolby Huetter; two daughters, Brittany Forster and husband Kade; and Destanie Huetter; four grandchildren, Josiah Tuggle, Caleb Tuggle, Parker Forster, and Oliver Forster; and three nieces J'Amy Cuevas, Brittany Cuevas; and Jimmie Cuevas.

Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Fred and Parolee Graumann; fraternal grandparents Mack and Mary Jo Armstrong; Uncle Larry Graumann; Cousin Alan Graumann, and best friend, Michael Engle.


Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2020, at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.

Funeral services Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. December 8, 2020, at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Granite, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Lowell - Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
