Michael Don Watson was born February8, 1988 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He died August 24, 2003 in Altus, Oklahoma.

Michael attended and graduated from Sunset Elementary School and was a 9th grader at the Altus Junior High. While in school, Michael had been awarded the Steven Smades Award, and was a member of the National Junior High Honor Society. Michael was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus.

Survivors include father Donald Lane Watson and Brenda of Altus, mother Gail Kirk of Lawton; grandparents Don H. Watson and Wanda of Altus; Mary Kirk of Lawton; sister Jamie Dodd of Lawton; brothers Jayson Dodd of Lawton, Steven Bruce of California; uncles Kyle Watson and Brenda of Altus, Steven H. Watson of Virginia; aunts Anna Lu Deal and Jim of Altus, Betty Jo Swann and Billy of Altus, Sylvia Eichholz and Lloyd of Altus and Reba Lane of Altus. A host of friends and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandpa Kirk.
