Obituary for Michael Scott Bryant
Michael Scott Bryant age 28, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away September 9, 1997. He was born June 16 1969 in Altus, Oklahoma to Ricky Bryant and Connie Bryant Labrecque. Mike attended the Altus Public Schools. Mike was an honor student at Altus High School where he received an honor scholar award for academic achievement in 1986 from OSU while in High School. He graduated from Altus High School in 1987. He played a very active role with the Altus High School Tennis team. After graduation he attended WOSC, the University of Houston, Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. Mike received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Cameron University in 1995 at Lawton. He was currently seeking a degree in the medical field. Mike was employed with the SAM'S Wholesale Club in Lawton for over 7 years, where he held a managerial position. Mike loved sports of any kind, he enjoyed playing golf and tennis and any outdoor sports. Mike was a loving husband and father to their son.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 12, 1997 at 4:00pm in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home with Rev, Randy Kendrix officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife Solveig Bryant of the home in Altus, his son Baylor Haydon Bryant of Altus, Oklahoma. three step-brothers; Cody Huckaby, Keith "Scooter: Huckaby both of Altus, and Brad Labrecque of Lubbock, Texas. One sister; Trina Bryant of Hutchinson, Kansas and a step-sister, Jolene Turnbow of Altus, Oklahoma. Mike is also survived b y his step-mother; Ann Bryant of Altus, Oklahoma and his step-father; Thomas Labrecque of Altus, Oklahoma two grandmothers; Evelyn Wallace of Hutchinson, Kansas, Gertrude Bryant of Altus, Oklahoma. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many special friends.
Mike is preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Wesley Bryant and Oliver E. Wallace, his grandmother; Eliza Miller, his uncle Douglas E. Wallace, one nephew Ryan Anthony Huckaby.
