MIKE BLACK






Mike Black, age 53, a resident of Burns Flat, formerly of Oklahoma City, passed away Monday, October 30, 2006 at the Clinton Regional Hospital in Clinton.

Mike was born on August 28. 1953 in Clinton to Clifford Black and Jeanette (Brown) Black. On April 28, 1980 Mike married Terry Slay in Houston and they were married for over 26 years before his death. Mike was a truck driver for 30 years and most recently worked for Gene Burden Trucking. Mike enjoyed his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He liked to go fishing when he had time and he especially enjoyed watching OU games. Mike was loved by is family and friends and will be missed very much.

Preceding Mike in death were his grandparents, Sam and Mark Brown; Lee and Amanda Black.

Mike is survived by his wife Terry Black o9f the home; three children, Heather Chittenden and husband Nathan of Sweetwater, Texas; Mikah Black of Burns Flat; Kirk Black and wife Krystal, Burns Flat; two sisters, Linda Deweese and husband Randall, of Arapaho; Cheryl Gordonand husband Merle of Grand Island, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Baylee Chittenden; Cole Chittenden; Rowdie Black; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Graveside services for Mike Black will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell with Dale Nease officiating, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home an Cremation Servce of Clinton.
