Obituary for Mildred Tabb
Mildred Tabb was born February 18th, 1928 at Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Josephine (Pierce) Sirmons. She died August 10, 1996 at Mangum, Oklahoma. She married Dotson C. Tabb, October 18, 1954 in Oklahoma and he preceded her in death December 22, 1991. She was a longtime resident of Jackson County having resided here over 45 years. She was a Methodist, a member of the Eastern Star.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Spencer officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: three children, Robert K. Tabb and his wife Beverly of LaPorte, TX, Thomas A. Tabb and his wife Valorie of Sacramento, CA and Susan Fallings of Granite, Oklahoma; two brothers, A. J. Sirmons of Agra, OK and Velton Sirmons of Granite, Oklahoma; two sisters, Nathalia Burnett of Nacona, TX and JoDella Newcomb of Chandler, OK; nine grandchildren, Angelia Lemoine, GayLynn Lassetter, David Dotson Tabb, Robert Keith Tabb, Amanda Tabb, Thomas Tabb, Randy Tabb, David Tabb and Natasha Johnson; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Dotson C. Tabb - 1991; eight brothers and sisters.
