Minnie Lee Buckhanon age 79 of Olustee, Oklahoma died at the Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma April 1. 1964. She was born March 16, 1885 in Princeton, Kentucky to M.M. and Minty (Greggston) Buckhanon. she married John Buckhanon May 8, 1908 in Headrick, Oklahoma. She had been a resident in the community since the age of 11.
Funeral services for Minnie Lee Buckhanon are scheduled for April 2. 1964 at the Tims Chapel at 2:30 officiated by Rev. Gene Garrison. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Minnie Lee Buckhanon is survived by her husband John, Olustee, Oklahoma one son, Roy L. Buckhanon, Eunice, New Mexico, one daughter, Mrs. Mable Donaghe, Olustee, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Burchie Freeman, Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Lillie Buckhanon.
Five children preceded Minnie Lee Buckhanon. in death.
