Mrs. Minnie Pearl Penn, age 81, of Altus, OK, died on Wednesday, September 11th, 1968 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at the Emanuel Baptist Church, Friday, September 13, 1968, 2:30 P.M. with the Reverend Bill Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Penn was married to John L. Penn December 20, 1903 at Marysville, TX. He preceded her in death June 14, 1966. She had lived in the Jackson County area for 41 years and was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by: four sons, Bill of Happy, TX, Herman of Lindsey, OK, Ernest of Farmington, AR and Harold of Cleburn, TX; three daughters, Mrs. Jewell Williams of Amarillo, TX, Mrs. Ada Wilk of Cleburn, TX and Mrs. Gladys Townsend of Ft. Worth, TX; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
