Mitchell Lee Smalling is survived by four sons, Stanton E. Smalling, Crewfordville Indiana; Cecil M. Smalling, El Cereta, California; Jim Smallling, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Carroll D. Smalling, Oklahoma; four daughters, Mrs. Berniace Warren, Duke, Oklahoma; Mrs. Berke Mae Brisfin, El Paso, Texas; Mrs. Bergie Bush, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Bessie Hayo, Willow, Oklahoma; twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
