Mr. Mitchell (NMI) Brown, age 59, 5608 S. Shields Blvd., Oklahoma City, died Thursday, October 6th, 1977 at the South Community Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, Tims Chapel of Memories, with the Reverend C. L. Abercrombie officiating and assisted by Don Sevedge. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery.
Born March 28th, 1918 at Elk City, OK, he was married to the former Allie Gann and he belonged to the Trinity Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: his wife, Allie of the home; three sons, Gene Brown, Jimmy French of Morgan City, LA and Brent French of Altus, OK; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Thompson of Hugo, OK; three brothers, John D. of Shamrock, TX, Charlie of Sacramento, CA and Dean of Stinett, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Farrar of Elk City and Mrs. Mary Tanner of Cordell, OK.
