Nellie Bly Sipes age 74, of Olustee, Oklahoma died April 10, 1966 at Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. She was born November 8, 1891 in Old Greer County, Texas to LZ. and Ella (Douglas) Eddleman. She married O.T. Sipes August 31, 1911 and he preceded her in death May 3, 1949. She had been a resident of Jackson since 1918.
Funeral services for Nellie Bly Sipes are scheduled for 10:00 am Monday at the Olustee Church of Christ officiated by Bill Osborne. Burial will follow in Pilot Point in Texas.
Nellie Bly Sipes is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Paul Mock, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. J.D. Prater, Olustee, Oklahoma; Mrs. Carl Lightner, Cleveland, Oklahoma eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers, Douglas Eddleman, Pilot Point, Texas; R.W. Eddleman, Pilot Point, Texas.
