Obituary for Nellie Grace Cann
Nellie Grace Cann age 85, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away in Memorial Hospital August 25, 1966. She was born September 17, 1880 in Ganger County, Tennessee to A.T.E. and Sally Hall.
She married Henry Cann and he preceded her in death in 1925. She owned a school supply store in Olustee for many years and was one of the first telephone operators in Olustee before moving to Altus in 1945.

Funeral services for Nellie Cann are scheduled for August 27, 1966, 10:00 am in the Tims Chapel with Rev. C.J. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Nellie Grace Cann is survived by one son A.J. Cann of Palos Verdes Peninsula, California; four grandchildren, one brother H.L. Hall, Altus, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cann was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Jim Henry Cann August 1, 1965.
