Nelson Henry Burnett



Nelson Henry Burnett, 81, of Eldorado died Tuesday August 10, 1993 in the Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Services have been set for 2:00pm Friday, August 13, 1993 in the Eldorado First Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Ladner and Rev.Mitch Whittington officiating.
Burial will follow in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Burnett was born May 3, 1912 in Rising Star, Texas to George and Della May Burnett. He came to the Eldorado area in a covered wagon in 1922 where he made his home. He married Florence Fowler October 10, 1937 in Altus. He was a long time farmer and rancher in the Eldorado Community. Mr. Burnett was baptised in 1924 on the O.V. Wood farm south of Eldorado and was a member of the Baptist Church in Eldorado.
Survivors include wife Florence of the home; children, Audean Brunett Tuell and Jim of Euless, Texas; Linda Burnett Conaway and Steve of Edmond, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; Tynn Thompson, Tuell and Bronlyn Kay Tuell both of Euless, Texas; Kyle Conaway and Seth Conaway both of Edmond, Oklahoma; his step-mother, Ethel Burnett of Lewiston, Utah; two half-brothers; Charles Burnett of Pearl City Hawaii; and Lemuel Burnett of Lewiston, Utah.
Preceded in death by father and mother one sister, Wilma Simpson one brother Forrest Burnett.
