Obituary for Nettie Opal Bennett
Funeral services for Nettie Opal Bennett, 86, formerly of Eldorado, are scheduled for 2:00pm Tuesday, March 9, 1999 at the Eldorado Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Eldorado City Cemetery. Bill Osborne will officiate. Mrs. Bennett was born July 23, 1912 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Eugene and Julia (Key) Williams. Mrs Bennett married John Johnson Bennett, Jr. he passed away August 8, 1982. Mrs Bennett was a homemaker ad a member of the Church of Christ. The body will lie in state at the Eldorado funeral Chapel, until 12:00 noon Tuesday.

Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, five brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include; one son, Jimmie Bennett and wife June of Azel, Texas, Julia Bennett of Santa Barbara, California; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren one great great grandchild.

Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
