Obituary for Ocie Banks
Services for Ocie Banks, age 89, former Altus resident, have been scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 7, 1998, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Black officiating. Interment will follow in the Hess Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. The family will be receiving guests at Lowell Tims Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday night.

Mrs. Banks passed away Friday, December 4th, 1998, at her home in Mounds, Oklahoma. She was born January 3, 1909 in Callahan County, Texas to the late Jim and Flora (Cave) Edgeworth. She married Bill Driggers and they had three children, Darrell, Dorothy and Jimmy. After Mr. Driggers' death, she married Dave Graham in 1938. They had one daughter, LaVerne. Mr. Graham passed away in 1962. Ocie later married Clyde Banks and he also preceded her in death in 1973. Mrs. Banks was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus.

Ocie is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Roy Black of De Ritter, LA and Arlin and Laverne Sanford of Glenpool, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Linda and Jerry Rock of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Judy and Bob Moulis of Tulsa, OK, Randy and Linda Sanford of Holdenville, OK, Carrie and Ron Caldwell of Phoenix, AZ and Jennifer Fuselier of De Ritter, LA. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Sanford, Emily Sanford, Brandy Terronez, Gene Terronez, Gianna Moulis, Jason Aunkst and Amy Smith; and by two sisters, Bessie Parker of Delaware and Dollie Smith of Lubbock, TX.

Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Bill Driggers, Dave Graham and Clyde Banks; two sons, Jimmy Driggers and Darrell Driggers; one daughter, Ruby Driggers; four brothers, Ben Edgeworth, John Edgeworth, Tommy Edgeworth, and Dexter Edgeworth; and by two sisters, Ethel Boynkin and Era Larkey.
