Obituary for Octa Alice Richardson
Mrs. Octa Alice Richardson, age 93, pioneer settler in the Gould area and a long time resident of Eldorado, died Friday morning at a Vernon Texas Nursing Home.

Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Sunday afternoon at the Eldorado Church of Christ, officiated by Mark Legg. Burial will be in the Hollis Fairmont Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born February 14th, 1885 in Murfreesboro, TN, she came to the Gould area at an early age, taught school and moved to the Eldorado community upon her marriage to the late Robert S. Richardson in March of 1906. He died in 1965. She was a member of the Eldorado Church of Christ.

Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Floy Garrison of Wichita Falls, TX; one brother, Mr. Doyl Hill; one sister, Miss Dena Hill, both of Houston, TX; two grandsons; one grandaughter; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
