Octa Mae Thomas was born July 12, 1908 at Mart Texas, she died December 17, 1990 at the Jackson county Memorial Hospital.

She married Harvie Thomas Thomas February 12, 1958 at Las Vegas, Nevada. She had been a resident of Altus since 1961, she was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband Harvie Thomas of Altus; one daughter Edith Marie Conditt of Altus; one sister, Helen Kay VanHooser of Wichita Falls, Texas; one granddaughter, Sandra Alewine of Altus; one grandson, Larry Conditt, Altus; four great grandchildren, Kathey Rice, Mark, Alewine, Shawna and Christie Gordon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers, and one grandson Michael Gordon.

Graveside services will be held Thursday December 20, 1990 at the Restlawn Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Chris Tiger. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
