Obituary for Oleta Pearl Biddy Hall
Oleta Pearl Biddy Hall was born December 12, 1917 at Warren, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Albert Allen and Dora Bell (Berry) Biddy. She died August 16, 2002 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Oleta married Martin Lee Hall, January 1, 1937 at Warren, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death.
Oleta was a life-long resident of Jackson County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a great cook and seamstress. She cooked at both the Headrick and Navajo schools. She was very active in her Sunday School class and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include three children, Jereta Kay Davis and husband DeRoy of Altus, Oklahoma, Bryan Lee Hall and his wife Jan of McKinney, Texas, Adora Hamilton and husband Charles of Frisco, Texas; one brother, Ben Biddy of Stratford, Texas; two special sister-in-laws, Odella Dennis and Mildred Biddy; six grandchildren, Corwin Petzold and wife Lisa of Elmer, Oklahoma, Carrie Thornton and husband Trebor of Altus, Oklahoma, Cheri Kay and husband Greg of Altus, Oklahoma, Brandon Hall of McKinney, Texas and Krissy Roberts and Dawn Roberts, both of Frisco, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Weston and Whitley Kay, Colton and Cambrie Thornton and Seth Petzold.
Oleta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Ray Biddy and one sister, Francis Vann.
Services for Oleta Hall are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday August 18, 2002 at the Warren Cemetery with Rev Madison Clinton officiating.
The family of Oleta Hall will greet friends at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, Saturday, August 17, 2002 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday August 18, 2002 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon.
Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials in honor of Oleta Hall may be made to the Warren Cemetery.
