Obituary for Olin H. Anderson
Olin H. (Buck) Anderson was born March 21st, 1911 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. He died May 23rd, 1994 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late George and Mary Molly (Wisdom) Anderson. He married Leta Marple February 17, 1946 at Crystal City, TX.

He served during World War II with the Seabees, he spent 30 months in the Pacific during the War. He served from 1941-1945. He was a crane operator with Civil Service for 27 years before his retirement in 1976. He was a longtime resident of Altus, he was a member of the First Baptist Church, BPOE, the American Legion and the VFW.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
