Obituary for Oma Springs
Oma Springs, age 90 of Eldorado, passed away January 2, 2003 at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis. Services, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, are set for 2:00pm Saturday, January 4, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado. The Rev.'s Don Ladner, and Pete Wylie will officiate and interment will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery. Visitation will be at Lowell-Tims Chapel in Eldorado.

Oma was born July 16, 1912 at Louis, Oklahoma to parents Elmer B. dickerson and Jewell Lee Keeton Dickson. She was a graduate of Bethel High School and attended Business College in Abilene, Texas. Oma was united in marriage to Leonard R. "Ted" springs on September 14, 1935 at Louis, Oklahoma.
They enjoyed over forty years of marriage. Oma was active at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado. She was a Sunday School teacher for almost 72 years.

She is survived by her son, Tim springs and wife Janette of Eldorado; daughter, Kathy springs and husband Bob Rizzo of Carrloton, Texas; grand-daughter, Shelley Hurst and husband Kevin of Eldorado; grand-son, Tracy Springs and wife Mae of Eldorado; two great grand-daughters Kalley and Savanna Hurst of Eldorado; great grand-son Triston Springs of Eldorado; step-great-grand-daughter, Corie Funderburg and one sister Elma Jenkins of Amarillo, Texas. Oma was preceded in death, by her husband, Leonard R. "Ted"prings on August 15, 1977; her parents; two sisters, Lee Ellen McIlhany and Mabel Tolor and one brother,
Elgin Dickerson.
