Obituary for Ophie Magnolia Patton
Ophie Magnolia Patton, age 87, passed away Sunday, December 18th, 1994 in Wakita, Oklahoma. She was born July 5th, 1907 in Denton, Texas to Andrew and Ida B. Harris. She moved to Martha as a young girl and graduated from Martha High School.

She married Oscar Patton November 27, 1926 in Martha, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death August 25, 1986. She then moved to Meford, OK to be near her daughter and grandchildren.

Ophie was a member of the Martha Baptist Church for over 70 years and was very active during that time. She loved quilting and completed a great number of special quilting projects during her lifetime.

Ophie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Oscar; an infant son; a sister, Iola Evans; a brother, Holly Harris; and her son-in-law, Darrel Dell.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Dell of Enid, OK; two grandchildren, Daresa Dell also of Enid and Byron Dell of Hastings, MN.
