Otho L. Garren age 75, of Altus, Oklahoma died November 2, 1982, at Woods Nursing Home, Vernon, Texas.
Otho was born October 22, 1097 in Turnerville, Texas to John W. and Lillie (Carter) Garren. He married Lucille Thrush in 1929 in Olustee, Oklahoma. Otho had lived in southwest Oklahoma since the age of 12. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners.
Funeral services for Otho L Garren are scheduled for Thursday, November 4, 1982 at 2:30 pm in the First Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Keith Wiginton and Rev. James W. Read. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Otho is survived by his wife, Lucille, of the home in Altus; nieces and nephews, Joe Paulk, Altus, Oklahoma; Clayton Tenny, Altus, Oklahoma, Joe Hatton, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. O. B. Brown, Salenas, Colorado. He was preceded in death by Mrs. Althcria Diltz, Audie Hollingsworth, Vera Walker, Truitt, Enis, M. C, Jr.Ernest.
