Obituary for Ozelle Marie Smith
Ozelle Marie Smith was born April 30, 1917 at Duke, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Alma McKibbin. She died April 18, 1997 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She married Lt. Col. Vinson S. Smith, May 4, 1952, and he preceded her in death December 1992.

Marie graduated from Duke High School. In the late 1940's she moved to Seattle, Washington. She served as a volunteer for the Red cross over 20 years, serving in Seattle, Germany, and Alaska. She was a member of the Duke Church of Christ.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday April 22, 1997 at the Duke Church of Christ with Bill David Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the rock Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include sister Violet Bassel Roberson of Duke, Oklahoma; Josie Moore of Elk City, Oklahoma; a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vinson S. Smith 2 brothers, Joe Dial McKibbin, and Clay Allen McKibbin.
