Obituary for Pablo M. Rosalez Sr.
Pablo M. Rosalez, age 75 of Altus, passed away May 3, 2001. Services are scheduled for 2:00pm. Monday at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverends Frank Maldonado and Juan Montez will be officiating. Internment will follow at the Blair Cemetery.
Pablo was born January 15, 1926 in Charco, Texas to Ascencion and Francisca Rosalez. He was united in marriage to Amanda Rodriguez and they enjoyed many years together. She preceded him in death in 1986. He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County where he worked in agriculture. Pablo was a member of the Pentecostal Church. He also enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team.
Pablo was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda; son, Frank Rosalez in 1996 and both parents.
He is survived by five sons, Domingo Rosalez and Maggie of Kansas, Robert Rosalez of Altus, Pablo Rosalez Jr. and Cara of Blair, Joe and Rosie Rosalez of Altus, Shawn and Josie Rosalez of Altus; daughters, Ofelia Poundstone of Altus, Audelia and Raymond Gloriaof Altus, Estella Rosalez of Blair, Minia and David Brunet of Altus, Mary Gaulden of Altus, Terri and Roy Nolan of Altus, Rosa Daryk DeGarmo of Arkansas; two brothers, Ruperto Rosalez and Elias Rosalez of Blair; sister Afrora Magoon of Boston, Mass; twenty four grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
