Obituary for Paris Dale Risinger
Paris Dale Risinger, lifetime Jackson County resident, passed away, Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Dale was born November 23, 1932 in Hess, Oklahoma to Homer Francis and Lizzie (Steen) Risinger.
He attended Southside School before entering the US Army. After returning to Hess, he learned the trade of brick masonry from his father and uncle, Jay Risinger. Dale was gited musically and enjoyed playing and listening to Country and Western music.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Judy; and one sister, Earlene "Beans" Risinger.
He is survived by his son, Tim Risinger of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Bill Risinger and wife Sally of Hess, Oklahoma, Carl "Frog" Risinger and wife Shirley of Altus, Oklahoma, and Gary Risinger and wife Debbie of Elk City, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Meagan and Tiffany, both of Texas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 2:00 pm, Monday, January 24, 2011 at Hess Cemetery with Ricky Crouch officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
