Obituary for Pat Gibson
Pat Gibson, age 73 of Altus, Oklahoma and formerly of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at her home in Altus.
Pat was born on November 7, 1948 in Hobart, Oklahoma to her parents, Ralph Arnold Farmer and Loyce Lucille (Melton) Farmer. Pat was raised in Mountain Park, Oklahoma and she attended school in Frederick, Oklahoma. Pat married Larry Riley on June 23, 1966 and they settled in Cooperton, Oklahoma to raise her children. Later, Pat married Johnny Gibson on November 7, 1986. Pat enjoyed gardening, going to concerts, crocheting, and visiting her favorite place on earth, Georgetown, Grand Cayman. But most of all, Pat loved her family and spending time with them and she will be missed very much.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Loyce Farmer; her husband, Johnny Gibson; her brother, Larry; her sisters, Kay and Betty; and her stepdaughter, JoAnn.
Pat is survived by her children, Eddie Riley and wife Melinda of Ravia, Oklahoma; Sharon Turvaville and husband Danny of Chillcothe, Texas; Waylon Riley and wife Lajuana of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; Stephanie Cooksey and husband Ken of Altus; and Amy Dawn Farmer of Mill Creek, Oklahoma; her brother, Arnold; her sisters, Beverly; Phyllis; Johni and Barbara; grandchildren, Zach Riley; Katie Riley; Dustin Turvaville and wife Tori; Kara Gray; Taylor Matthews; Joshua Riley; Marissa Valedez; Shawna Henry; Cammie Mowels; Kellie Cavitt; Erica Leo; Jimmy Riley; Kyler Riley; Missouri Riley; and Simon Riley; great grandchildren, Lily, Khonner, Rylee, Elijah, Madie, Karlee, Emersyn, Nova, Kaia, Kali, Mahaya, Judah, Brooklynn, Bellah, Gunnar, Hunter, Catalina, Kimberlynn, and Juanita; her very special friend, Terri Stepps and her fur-babies, Minnie and Gaby.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus with John Lingle officiating.
