Patricia “Trish†Johnson, age 59, a longtime resident of Altus, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Trish was born in Wellington, Texas on July 1, 1955 to Edward and Willie Mae (Jordan) Johnson. Growing up in Wellington, Trish later moved to Hollis and then to Altus where she had resided ever since. Trish was a member of the Mount Zion Church in Altus and she worked for the Altus House, English Village, and Plantation Village nursing homes for many years. Trish enjoyed her trips to Walmart and loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be missed very much.
Preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Morris Johnson; one sister, Carrie Lee Arnett; and one grandson, Deondre Robinson; Trish is survived by two sons, Jay Johnson of Altus; David Brown of Lawton; one daughter, Ruby Johnson of Altus; four sisters, Willie Parker of Texas; Alice Beard of Lawton; Rosie Williams of Altus; and Margaret Newton and her husband John of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Lois Johnson of Altus; Howard Williams and his wife Debra of Oklahoma City; and Maurice Johnson of Oklahoma City; ten grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family of Trish Johnson will greet friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, October 3, 2014 at Lowell-Tims in Altus.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Altus City Cemetery with Pastor Benny Alexander officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral and Crematory, Altus.
