Pauline Montgomery, 79, of Altus died July 24, 1993 in Altus. Mrs. Montgomery was born January 3, 1914 in Hill County, Texas to Watson and Lela Carrol. She married Pete Montgomery January 2, 1933. Mrs Montgomery worked in base housing, on the janitorial staff. Mrs. Montgomery was a Baptist and had lived in Altus most of her life.

Pauline is survived by her husband Pete Montgomery of the home; children, Terry Montgomery of Altus, Oklahoma; brother Clifford Drake of California; sister, Fay Hagan of Dallas, Texas.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Wade Cordell Montgomery, one brother Juel Drake.
