Pearl was born November 15, 1895 in Georgia to J, R. and Mollie (Coffey) Thompson. she married John William Couart February 28, 1915. He preceded her in death in 1960.
Graveside services for Pearl Couart are scheduled for Saturday, August 7, 1982 at Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Pearl is survived by one daughter, Jeanne Pershouse, Lubbock, Texas, three grandchildren, one brother, Woodrow Thompson, Houston, Texas; four sisters, Ollie Brake, Altus, Oklahoma; Bessie Thompson, Altus, Oklahoma; Blanche Work, San Antonio, Texas; Coudus Carter, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
