Phillippia Chanel Sanders-Harris, age 24 passed away September 6, 2005, in Evans, GA.
She was born August 10, 1981, in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky to Phillip Sanders and Barbara West.
Chanel had lived in Evans, Georgia for the last 3 1/2 years. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Oklahoma, and attended Cameron University.
Her life enjoyment was raising her son Marquise. She had several hobbies she enjoyed especially reading, fishing, all kings of animals, especially dogs. Having been saved and baptized at an early age, she attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia and Friendship Baptist Church in Lawton, Oklahoma. Chanel is survived by her son, Marquise L. Harris; mother and step-father Barbara and Ronnie Lofton, Sr. of Evans, Georgia; father Phillip Sanders, of Altus, Oklahoma; one sister, Jasmine Britton, of Evans Georgia; one step-sister, Teeleth Lind, of Alaska; four step=brothers Craig Lofton of California, Ronnie Lofton, Jr. of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Terrence Lofton, of Indiana, Christopher Flfton, of Duncan, Oklahoma; Maternal grandparents, Willie and Sherry Dykes of Altus, Oklahoma, Robert Williams of Vernon, Texas; Paternal grandfather Charles Sanders of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and many friends.
Chanel is preceded in death by her Pa-Pa Rev. Theron Booker, Corine Fields, Dempy Fields and Johnny Williams.
Funeral services for Phillippia "Chanel" Sanders-Harris is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 1 pm. at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor LeRoy Adams, Jr. and Rev. Robert Bostic officiating.
Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
