Obituary for R.C. (Euna Mae) Turley
Mrs. Euna Mae Turley, age 74, lifetime resident of this area and the Friendship Community, died Sunday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for Tuesday, 2:00 P.M., at the Friendship Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Madison Clinton. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born January 10th, 1908 just west of Altus, she was married at Lawton on December 12, 1928 to the late Robert C. "Pete" Turley who died in 1975. They had resided on a farm northeast of Altus in the Friendship Community where she had continued to make her home. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Errol Turley of Ft. Worth, TX and Merle Dean Turley of Boulder City, NV; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Hooper of Blair; three brothers, William Shive of Oklahoma City, John Shive of Durango, CO and Carrel Shive of Lindsay, OK; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
