Ralph Hal Holland, Jr., age 48, of Tulsa, passed away Friday, December 1, 2013, in Tulsa.
Ralph was born on July 8, 1965, to Ralph Hal, Sr. and Juanita C. (Acthley) Holland. With his parents being part of the military, Ralph lived in several different locations throughout his life. Moving to Mangum, he met Charlotte Wyrick and they were married at the Mangum First Baptist Church on August 18, 1990. A truck driver for most of his life, in 2008, he moved to Tulsa and began working for R & R Air Conditioning and Plumbing until his health began to fail. In his spare time, he enjoyed trucking, washing his car, working on old vehicles and playing with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Allison Holland, he is survived by his step mother, Carol Holland of Many, Louisiana and step dad, Bob Shepherd; eight children, Brian Holland and wife Shana of Davis, Brent Holland of Washington D.C., Amanda Burton and husband Nicholas of Alabama, Nicholas Holland of Lexington, Oklahoma; Destiny Holland and fianc"e Jesse Inge of Tulsa, Lacie Holland and fianc"e Josh Woodworth of Granite, Gage Holland and girlfriend Kamaron of Mangum and Abby Holland of Tulsa; five grandchildren, Alexi, Natalie, Zander, Austyn and Nevaeh; three brothers, Randy Holland of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Leroy Holland of Sulphur, Oklahoma and Pat Holland of Many, Louisiana; Charlotte Holland, the mother of his children along with many other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral services for Ralph Holland, Jr. will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at the Dougherty Cemetery in Murray County, Oklahoma with Jerry Don Henry officiating. Services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
