Funeral services for Ramon D. Rocha, 98, of Martha, who died Thursday, April 15, are scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday, April 17, at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Martha Cemetery. Sonny Tims will officiate. Mr. Rocha was born August 31, 1894 in Ft. Stockton, Texas to Sadino and Martina Galleos. Mr. Rocha married Juanita Morles March 7, 1938 in Oklahoma City. Mr. Rocha was a member of the O'Brien Mission Baptist Church. Mr. Rocha moved to Martha in 1965 from Knox City, Texas. Lowell-Tims is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rocha is survived by his wife of the home Juanita; children Patricia Ann Lay of Clinton, Oklahoma; Delores Stickney of Blair, Oklahoma; Linda Ruiz of Martha, Oklahoma; Jenny Roe of Altus, Oklahoma; Yolanda Cooper of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Raymond Rocha of Bovina, Texas; John Rocha of Jackson Missouri; Manuel Rocha of Martha, Oklahoma; twenty-four grandchildren, one of which, Myra Sanders was raised as a child; thirty-four great-grandchildren; one brother Pete Rocha, of Knox City, Texas.
Mr. Rocha was preceded in death by his parents, one great granddaughter, four brothers, two sisters, one son-in-law, Neil Roe, three sons, Pete, Vernon, and Robert.
