Obituary for Randall Milton Lighty
Randall Milton Lighty, age 40, passed away Monday, April 22nd, 1996, in Altus, Oklahoma. Randall was born January 26th, 1956 in Peru, Indiana to Pete and Barbara (Minns) Lighty. Randy moved with his family to the Friendship community in August of 1964. He later moved to the Altus area, and graduated Altus High School in 1975, he played football and wrestled all through his school years. Randy attended Okmulgee Vo-Tech and Western Oklahoma State College. He had worked with his brother in the salvage business.
Services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 1996 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Clifford Harper officiating. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: his father, Pete Lighty of Peru, IN; his mother, Barbara Minns of Altus, OK; one daughter, Jana Gibson and husband Charles of Madison, SD; one brother, Richard Lighty and his wife Christy of Blair, OK; three sisters, Bobbi Harris of Vernon, TX, Tonia Lighty and husband Miracle of Altus, OK and Krista Karns and husband John of Eatonville, WA; two grandchildren, Charla and Nathan Randy Gibson of Madison, SD; and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William Gregory (Bill) Lighty, 11-12-94.
