Obituary for Randy Glenn
Randy Glenn, 47, of Altus, passed away suddenly late Thursday evening, May 3, 2012, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Randy was born May 16, 1964, in Ellsworth, Kansas, to Jody and Barbarah (Palmore) Glenn. He married Genia Shriver May 26, 1985, in Altus. Randy graduated from Altus High School in 1982 and had lived in Altus his entire life. He retired as manager from United Supermarkets after 30 years of service, which he started while in high school. He operated Little Debbie snack route for the past two years until the present time.
Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and golfing. One of his favorite hobbies was collecting guns. He loved to watch football, especially his favorite team, the OU Sooners. Randy was very active in his daughters" lives and participated in their many activities when they were growing up. He loved his community and the people in it. He was eager to meet new people and would brighten their day like he did so many others. He was always known for his laugh, smile, and sometimes mischievous ways. Randy enjoyed life to the fullest. He never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything. He was a devoted husband and father and received the most pleasure out of doing things for his family.
Preceded in death by his mother, Barbarah Glenn and infant twin brothers, Kenneth and Kevin, Randy is survived by his loving wife, Genia Glenn of Altus; two daughters, Shannon Dunn and husband Justin of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Jessica Glenn of Altus; his father, Jody Glenn of Altus; one brother, Todd Glenn and wife Misty, also of Altus; his mother-in-law, Frances Shriver or Altus; sister-in-law Mary Callison and husband John of Ft.. Worth, Texas, brother-in-law Mickey Shriver ad wife Kelly, also of Fort Worth, brother-in-law Robert Shriver of Altus, sister-in-law Sherry DeRay and husband David of Colorado Springs, Colorado, brother-in-law John Shriver and wife Trish of Sayre, Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Randy Glenn will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2012, at Lowell-Tims Chapel in Altus. A live web cast is available to friends and family who cannot attend the service. Go to the website below and click on Randy Glenn at 9:58 a.m. so that one may be a part of the service.
