Obituary for Raquel G. Linares
Raquel G. Linares was born May 18, 1930 in Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Leopoldo and Petra Guevarra. She died October 3, 1997 in Altus, Oklahoma. She married Alfonso Linares. She had been a resident of Altus and Jackson County over 45 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
A Rosary will be held Sunday, October 5, 1997 at 7:30 pm at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Joe Jacobi officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband Alfonso Linares; children ; Juan Linares and Mary Ann of Altus, Petra Chavarria and Alfredo of Altus, Oklahoma; grandchildren; Alex, Alfonso and Leo Linares, Christian, Jeremy Brandon, Jacob, Wendy Pettus, Jessica, Anthony, Pettus, Beatriz and George Gonzales, Al Jr., Silvia Chavarria; Great-grandson Dillion Pettus, son-in-law Jim Pettus; 5 brothers and 1 sister all of Mexico.
Preceded in death by mother and father, daughter, Margareta Pettus.
