Obituary for Raymond Nowlin
Mr. Raymond Nowlin, age 63, of 608 East Liveoak, died Wednesday night at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Richard McIlnay. Burial will be in the Veterans Section of the Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born October 13th, 1914 at Woodville, Oklahoma, he was married in 1946 to the former Mary Elizabeth Preston at Winchester, IL. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Asiatic Pacific with the Corp of Engineers and a member of the Altus American Legion Post #44.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Elizabeth of Norwalk, CA; four sons, Gary of Altus, Raymond, stationed with the Marine Corps at Yuma, AZ, Steve, with the U.S. Army in Germany and Philip, assigned to the U.S. Army at Ft. Campbell, KY; three daughters, Betty Harris of Norwalk, CA, Eva Nowlin of Alsey, IL and Helen Nowlin of Yucca Valley, CA.
