Obituary for Raymond Prince
Raymond Prince, Altus, passed away on December 11. 1982, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, at the age of 72. He was born on August 28, 1910 in Elmore City, Oklahoma. His father was Ben Prince. He married Jessie Darnell, on March, 29, 1947, in Phoenix, Arizona. They have lived in Jackson County since 1949.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Jessie, of the home; three son's; Percy of Arizona, Ronnie of Chicago, Illinois, and Raymond, Jr. of Altus: 11 daughters; Vergie Lee of Wichita, Kansas; Helen Jean Of Ponca City; Ella Mae Franklin of Los Angeles, California; Evelyn Creighton, of Wichita, Kansas; Martha Traylor, Wichita, Kansas; Rosa Mae Prince, Wichita, Kansas, Earlene Pratt, Wichita, Kansas, Deloris Smith, Chicago, Illinois, Kathleen Prince, Chicago, Illinois, Florene Burris, Altus, and Sharon Denise Prince of Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Prince also had one brother, R.C. Prince of Phoenix, Arizona. He also had 50 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

Services for Raymond Prince will be Thursday, December 16, 1982 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Reverend Donald Jones, officiating. Interment will be at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
