He moved to the Altus area in 1928. Robert married Lillian McDaniel March 14, 1934 in Warren, Oklahoma. He was a retired city of Altus employee and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Robert served during World War II, was a member of American Legion.
Funeral services for Robert Auldin Isbell are scheduled for September 29, 1969 at 10:00am in the Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. J. C. Crabbe. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Robert Auldin Isbell is survived by his wife, Lillian of the home in Altus; one son Robert W. Isbell of Altus, Oklahoma; two daughters, Phyliss Ann Isbell, Ft. Worth, Texas; Sherry Lynn Holding, Altus, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, two sisters, Evelyn Booth, Madill, Oklahoma; Katherine Isbell, Dallas, Texas.
