Obituary for Robert Cornelius Turley
Mr. Robert Cornelius Turley, age 74, of Altus, died Monday night at Lawton Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 10:30 A.M., Thursday at the Friendship Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Madison Clinton and assisted by the Reverend Bill Davis. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born August 20, 1900 in Warrensburg, Missouri, he came to this area in 1904. He was married in 1928 to the former Euna Mae Shive, who survives of the home. He was a retired farmer/stockman and a long time Deacon of the Friendship Baptist Church.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Errold Turley of Ft. Worth, TX and Merle Dean Turley of Blythe, CA; two brothers, J.C. and W.P. Turley of Anadarko, OK; one sister, Mrs. Luch Baker of Chickasha; five grandchildren.
