Obituary for Robert Ray Capps
Mr. Ray Capps, age 77, prominent and long time resident of the Blair Community died Friday night at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Monday at the Blair First Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Marshall Howard, pastor. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born October 24th, 1896 in Selma, AL, he came to this area when two years old and settled on a farm north and east of Blair. Mr. Capps remained on this farm for the following 75 years leaving it only last November when he moved into the city of Blair. He was married in 1920 to the former Sarah Red, who survives of the home. He was a member of the Blair First Baptist Church.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Verl of Duncanville, Texas and Onzel of Othello, WA; two daughters, Mrs. Oma Gean Holt of Blair and Mrs. Norma Stephenson of Norman, OK; 11 grandchildren.
