Obituary for Roberto Orta
Roberto Orta, age 50 of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, April 22, 2005 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 4, 1954 in Altus, Oklahoma to Alejandro T. and Maria (Garcia) Orta.
Roberto lived the majority of his life in Altus and was employed as a cement truck driver. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother, Maria Orta of Altus, OKlahoma; three daughters, JoAnn Orta of Michigan, Maria Manuela Orta of Michigan; Ruby Orta of Orlando, Florida; one son, Alex Orta of
five sisters Maria Uriegas, Altus, Oklahoma; Gayle Guerra and her husband; Alex of Altus, Okhamona. Dora Griego of Denver, Colorado; Silbia Sanchez and husband Lupe of Abilene, Texas; Delia Orta of Grandprairie, Texas; two brothers, Eddie Betancourt of Corpus Christi, Texas; Frederico Betancourt and wife Mary Jane of Atlanta, Georgia; one, half-sister, Maria Lousia Orta of Kingsville, texas; one special niece, Brenda Linares and husband Manual of Altus, Oklahoma; two special nephews, Christopher Reeves and wife Rosalinda of Altus, Oklahoma;
Danny Sanchez and wife Michelle of Irving, Texas; sister-in-law Bea Sanchez of Altus, Oklahoma and other relatives and friends.
Roberto was preceded in death by his father, Alejandro T. Orta.
Rosary for Roberto Orta is scheduled for Monday, April 25, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Father Joseph Arledge will officiate. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
