Obituary for Rodney White, I
Rodney White, 45 of Altus, Oklahoma and formerly of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Rodney was born in Altus, Oklahoma on July 22, 1974 to his parents Lenita White and Johnny White. Rodney grew up in Altus and graduated from Moore High School in Moore, Oklahoma. He worked at River Winds Casino, the Olive Garden, Applebee's, and was assistant manger for Kentucky Fried Chicken. He also worked in construction but Rodney was known best for his talent as a BBQ chef especially cooking ribs. Rodney also enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his children, his family, and his friends and he will be missed very much.
Preceded in death by his grandmothers, Beatrice Goodlow and Verla White; grandfather, Tellis Waller, Sr; and step grandfather, Haywood Goodlow.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Cassandra White of Altus; his mother, LeNita White and wife Jacqueline of Altus; his father Johnny White of Lexington, Oklahoma; two sons, Rodney LeDon White Jr. of Altus; and Devon LeDon White of Altus; three daughters, Asia Marie White of Norman; Frances Elaine Dixon of Oklahoma City; and Aalijah Emoine White of Altus; two granddaughters, Heather and Graceland as well as his uncles and aunts, cousins, other family members, and many friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 5, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus
Immediate Family Funeral services limited to ten people will be officiated by Pastor Robert Green at Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel in Altus.
Lowell-Tims will provide a live web-cast of the service beginning at 1:58 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Go to www.Lowell-Tims.com and click on Rodney White. There will be a blue tab that says "watch webcast" inviting you to join the web-cast.

Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery.
