Obituary for Romana Salas Rangel
Romana Salas Rangel was born December 6th, 1924 at Bergs Mill, Texas. She died September 17th, 1994 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Martin Rangel August 8, 1942 at San Antonio, TX. She was a homemaker and active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She was the daughter of the late Saturnino Salas and Camilla DeJesus (Trevino) Salas. She had been a resident of Altus and Jackson County since 1968 when they moved here from Midwest City.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 1994, 12:00 Noon, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held Tuesday, September 20, 1994 at 7:30 p.m., Father Tim Luschen officiating.

A memorial fund has been established with the American Lung Association. Donations can be made at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include: her husband, Martin F. Rangel of the home in Altus; five children, Irma Wollenzin of Universal, TX, Rebecca Morey and Marsha A. Delgadillo of Altus, OK, Esther Rutzebeck of Jacksonville, FL and Lucille D'Vorak of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Edward Salas and Israel Salas; three sisters, Chris Ybarra of San Jose, CA, Cecillia Garcia of Dilly, TX and Margaret Munoz of San Antonio, TX;16 grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: a sister, Rosa Guzman; a brother, Domingo Salas.
