Obituary for Rosa Mae Taylor
Rosa Mae Taylor, age 86, passed away Saturday, October 18th, 1986, evening at Dumas Memorial Hospital in Dumas, TX. Funeral services have been arranged for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Sunray Baptist Church, Sunray, Texas. Mrs. Taylor will lie in state at Lowell Funeral Home Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Restlawn Cemetery, Altus, OK, with The Reverend John Welch officiating. Arrangements are with Lowell Funeral Home.
Born September 25th, 1900 at Streater, Illinois. She was a former resident of Altus and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Taylor, August 11, 1978. Mrs. Taylor has lived in Sunray, Texas for the past nine years.
Survivors include: four daughters, Evelyn Young of Ft. Worth, TX, Sandra Arrington of Sunray, TX, Marjorie and Brenda Taylor of the home in Sunray, TX; three brothers, Floyd Taylor of Quanah, TX, Mitchell Taylor of Hollis, OK and Kameal Taylor of Gould, OK; two sisters, Mary Taylor and Blanche Taylor of Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
